Thanks to their chunky juicy texture, these le ntils make an excellent filling ingredient in salads, soups, stews and work fantastically when cooked with onions, spices, mushrooms and lemon juice.
Add lentils to boiling water and cook for 30 minutes, or until tender. Pressure cookers will soften the lentils in a much quicker time. You could also add these lentls straight to liquidy meals like soups or stews that are on a constant heat for half hour or so. These do not require pre-soaking.
